The folks at Online Colleges Blog prepared the following graphic on how to get free money for college. I went to college for free as a roundabout result of wanting desperately to get out of high school where I felt like I was marking time waiting for my real life to begin. My guidance counselor, in lieu of turning me over to the truant officer, suggested I drop out of high school and take my perfect grades to the financial aid office.
